RELENTLESS starring BOBBY HILL
?DATE: 2009-09-23

VENUE: VAULT 2498 FREDRICK DOUGLASS BLVD. (BTWN. 133rd - 135th Street) Harlem, USA

The Sound of Art presents RELENTLESS at Vault from 6 to 10 PM. RELENTLESS is an eye-opening exhibition of the work of internationally known artist Bobby Hill.

Bobby Hill has done it all. Met Andy Warhol as a kid at a Michael Jackson concert, sold one of his prints to a then upcoming Jay-Z and has featured his artwork on countless magazines and other venues. Mr. Hill has tasted success and worked his way from the sidewalk to the art gallery. Bobby Hill will not be denied.

The venue for the shindig is Harlem style haven, Vault. Vault is the spot Uptown if sartorial excellence is your thing showcasing hard to find kicks, apparel and accessories. Vault is where those in the know go to tighten up their wardrobe.

RELENTLESS is never resting on your laurels, never living off yesterdays victories and never giving up no matter the circumstances. Relentless is determination multiplied by vision. The Sound of Art, Bobby Hill, Vault - Relentless.

The BUENA SUERTE SERIES
?DATE: 2009-06-17

VENUE: EXHIBIT Probus 714 W. 181st Street NYC, NY AFTER-PARTY: Locksmith Wine Bar 4463 Broadway NYC, NY

2 artists, 2 days, 2 boroughs… the Sound of Art is 2 much. SOA has proven once and for all that you can escape from the city without having to escape from the city - that stress, worry and turmoil are all a matter of perspective and a little bit of art, beauty and good vibes goes a long way. The Sound of Art’s Artscapisms was a rousing success that began in Washington Heights on Friday 6/12 with the Buena Suerte Series featuring the work of M. Tony Peralta and culminated in Planet Brookyn on Saturday 6/13 with Cam’s Crib showcasing the work and the new digs of Craig Anthony Miller. Artscapism was an ambitious undertaking encompassing the showcasing of the artwork of a pair of accomplished artists as well as several venues across the city but SOA pulled off this Herculean feat without a hitch; blowing the minds of SOA regulars and the newly initiated in the process.
